During the National Convention of the Objectivist Party held on May 25, 2008 at The Buckhorn Exchange in Denver, Colorado, Thomas Robert Stevens (New York) was selected as the candidate of the Objectivist Party for President in 2008 and Alden Link (New Jersey) was selected as the candidate of the Objectivist Party for Vice-President in 2008.
The Objectivist Party held its National Convention from May 29-30, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri. The first session was held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Show-Me's on The Landing located at 724 North First Street. The second session was held on Sunday, May 30, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Kitchen Buffet & Bistro (inside Lumiere Place Casino) located at 999 North Second Street. The delegates unanimously selected Thomas Robert Stevens (New York) as its candidate for President in 2012 and unanimously selected Alden Link (New York & Florida) as its candidate for Vice-President in 2012.
